Brooks has outpatient clinics spanning across Northeast Florida, Daytona, Orlando and Tampa. Our outpatient services include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy.

Outpatient Therapy Specialties

  • Neurological — Our state-of-the-art Neuro Recovery Centers offer access to specialized equipment for customized rehabilitation. The gyms are designed to allow patients to continue ongoing exercise regimens and conditioning programs to maintain and improve functional ability and movement.
  • Geriatrics — Geriatric care includes services such as home care, memory care, fall prevention, mobile therapy and more.
  • Women’s health — The Brooks Rehabilitation Women’s Health Program is a regional leader in the examination, evaluation and treatment of women’s health and pelvic health issues such as urinary incontinence, bowel disorders, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse and more.

Brain Injury Clubhouse

In addition to home care, adaptive wellness and other outpatient therapy services, Brooks Rehabilitation operates the

 

Brain Injury Clubhouse, the first and only acquired brain injury (ABI) center of its kind in the state of Florida. The full-day program offers members a chance to have their the long-term recovery needs met. It is designed for individuals who have experienced an acquired neurological/brain injury and expands the system of care provided by Brooks Rehabilitation. Its goal is to serve as a bridge to community and vocational re-integration.

Florida’s Direct Access law

In Florida, by law, patients can see their physical therapist for 30 days without a physician’s referral. This is intended to allow patients to begin physical therapy sooner in order to expedite recovery.
