Last Friday, Governor DeSantis issued an Executive Order outlining the plans for Phase 3 of his Re-opening Plan.

The Governor’s Order removes fines for not wearing masks; however, in the City of Daytona Beach, face coverings are still required to be worn while indoors and when social distancing is not possible.

According to a release put out by the city, health experts say wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose helps protect others from COVID-19, a disease that is spread through small droplets from the nose or mouth. People release droplets into the air when they sneeze, cough, speak, laugh, and shout.
