The Daytona Beach Department of Public Safety is searching for a man and woman who were caught on video surveillance breaking into a car from a parking garage at the Oceans 4 Condominium in Daytona Beach Shores.

The suspects were seen in a red Mazda, license plate CJCY55, pulling into the garage, before the male suspect got out of the Mazda, and broke into a parked vehicle stealing a credit card. The couple then went on a shopping spree, racking up hundreds of dollars in charges for gift cards to various grocery and convenience stores.

DBPS believes the couple is from Jacksonville, and that they know the identity of the woman, but is seeking help from the public in identifying both the man and woman in the photo.

Anyone with information regarding the couple is urged to contact Detective Dan Carrazana at (386) 763-5347 or email him at dcarrazana@cityofdbs.org
