Jeffery Daniel, a 42-year old Daytona Beach Resident has been arrested and held in police Custody on No Bond for writing "On Killing the Police - A Manifesto for the Mentally Ill.”

According to Daytona Beach Police Department, Daniels sent an email out to Stewart Marchman stating, “I wrote a Manifesto,” and was generated SMA’s automated response email. Daniels replied with a link “On Killing the Police_A Manifesto for the Mentally Ill_Facebook.pdf.”

SMA Employee Rhonda Harvey reported the email to police, along with screenshots of the emails received, who found the complete manifesto on Facebook.

Detectives of DBPD investigated further into the Manifesto and were able to acquire subpoena’s for the IP address, and also a warrant. They tracked down the post leading police to Daniel’s residence off S. Peninsula Avenue in Daytona Beach.

Daniel’s manifesto exposes his past experiences with police, social and health care workers, referencing multiple times he was mentally ill, and that he didn’t want to “kill a female cop.” Daniel's claims female officers never "beat him."

Daniels is charged with Written threats to kill, and currently held at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
