Daytona Beach Police Department Identify Human Remains Found Last Week.

The remains found off LPGA in Daytona Beach last week have been identified.

The remains were found by Stephen Filkohazi and Michael Campenile two surveyors who were out in the area surveying the wooded lot on the corner of grand Preserve and LPGA Blvd, close to Dalhoon Holly Rd.

After the remains were reported to Daytona Beach Police Department, as 39-year old Brian Lee Grupe, a resident of Dalhoon Holly Rd in Daytona Beach. The Police Department is not treating this case as a suspicious death at this time.

Next of kin has been notified, and the investigation for the cause of death is still underway.
