Daytona Beach Selects Deric Feacher as Next City Manager

Daytona Beach City Commission held a special meeting on Saturday where they selected Deric Feacher as the new City Manager.
According to a release over the next several weeks, an employment agreement will be negotiated, with Feacher, who will replace retiring City Manager Jim Chisholm. Feacher, a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, has 20 years of senior-level experience working in local government. Feacher lists his strengths as strategic planning, organizational management and development, collection problem solving, interpersonal relations, team building, community relations, fiscal management, and communications.
Feacher was selected after a national recruitment and selection process that involved feedback from community members.
