Education and Community Town Hall Meeting in Daytona Beach

On December 7, there will be an Education and Community Town Hall Meeting held at 6 p.m. at the Midtown Cultural and Education Center in Daytona Beach.

According to a release, the meeting is open to the public and sponsored by Daytona Beach NAACP and VCAALC. The Town Hall meeting is also in partnership with Volusia County Schools and Daytona Beach Commissioner Paula R. Reed.

There will be several speakers, such as:

- Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick L. Henry

- Anita Burnette from the District 2 School Board

- Volusia County School Superintendent Dr. Ronald Fritz

- Community and educational leaders.

The principals from the following schools will also be present: Turie T. Small Elementary, Palm Terrace Elementary, Campbell Middle School, and Mainland High School.
