The Florida Department of Transportation will host a meeting to highlight planned improvements for the International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) corridor in Daytona Beach, stretching from the Halifax River Bridge to State Road A1A. The Department of Transportation wishes to enhance pedestrian safety and better traffic operations along the busy road.

The department will present its revised plans from October 2021 during a public meeting on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at the Volusia County Beach Safety Headquarters located off S. Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach.

To accommodate the public, FDOT is offering multiple ways to learn about the project and provide feedback:

  • In-Person Open House: People can stop by the Volusia County Beach Safety Headquarters, 515 S. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach any time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with the project team members, and submit comments or questions.

  • Virtually: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting (VPM), a free live presentation or webinar over the internet accessible from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. For this option, attendees must register in advance by visiting this website. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online.

  • Phone: Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing 415-655-0060 and entering the passcode 562-571-963 when prompted.
