Motor vehicle accident temporarily closed Ridgewood Ave in Daytona Beach.

An early morning motor vehicle accident at Madison Avenue and North Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach had roads closed, causing delays early Friday morning.

Officers with the Daytona Beach police Department were on the scene of the crash, where a tow truck struck two vehicles. One of the drivers hit by the tow truck received multiple injuries and was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach in stable condition.

The roadways were closed while the crews worked on clearing the accident and have since opened back up.
