On Saturday, September 12 the Town of Ponce Inlet is hosting a virtual event in celebration of Grandparents Day. The virtual event is being held virtually through the Ponce Inlet Historical Museum.

According to a release from Town Officials, families both can join together from near and far for a short history of the Museum and a virtual children's book reading celebrating the love between grandparents and grandchildren.

Registering for the event will provide families with a PDF document with fun activities that you and your loved ones can do over the phone, in a video, or send in the mail. This program is also part of the ECHO Ranger Program through Volusia County. Those participating in the ECHO Ranger program will also receive their "Ponce Inlet Stamp" if they attend the virtual reading and/or show they completed an activity.

To sign up for the virtual book reading and activity sheets, email Museum Educator Emily Kovacs at ekovacs@ponce-inlet.org or call the Museum at (386) 761-2408 to provide your email.
