The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting a public meeting at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 1. The meeting will be held at the Shores Community Center in Daytona Beach Shores.

According to a release from the City of Daytona Beach, the public meeting is about the proposed design plans for U.S 92/East International Speedway Blvd. (ISB) from the ISB Bridge to Atlantic Avenue (S.R. A1A).

The FDOT project team will be sharing options for improvements to the intersection of ISB and A1A, as well as widening ISB to provide expanded travel lanes and a raised median.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant sidewalks and curb ramps will also be included throughout the corridor. Additionally, signals will be reconstructed at Halifax Avenue, Peninsula Drive (S.R. 441), and Grandview Avenue.

The public hearing is being held to present project information and obtain public input. Persons who cannot attend the public meeting in person can participate virtually.
