Sandbags Available at Town of Ponce Inlet Community Center

With the anticipated rain associated with Tropical Storm Isaias for this upcoming weekend, the Town of Ponce Inlet will be providing Sand and Sandbags today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday) at the Ponce Inlet Community Center on S. Peninsula Dr.
The anticipated rainfall may be of particular impact to the town’s low-lying areas.
Sandbags will also be available at the Ponce Inlet Fire Department, next door to the Community Center.
Residents should bring a shovel and be prepared to fill bags. There is a limit of 10 bags per resident. Proper ID is required.
