Suspect arrested in weekend shooting outside Razzle’s in Daytona Beach

The Daytona Beach Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance involving a group of individuals at Razzle’s, located at 611 Seabreeze Boulevard in Daytona Beach, on the evening of Saturday, July 22, 2023, at approximately 11:49 p.m.

According to a release, officers discovered two victims upon arriving at the scene. Both victims were suffering from serious gunshot wounds, and two more victims were located nearby, also wounded by gunfire. Medical attention was provided to all of the victims, and they are expected to make a full recovery.

Karla Bermudez, 29, the identified suspect in the incident was arrested on Monday, July 24 on four counts of attempted murder charges. Bermudez is currently in custody at the Volusia County Branch Jail, and being held on no bond, pending her first court appearance. The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.
