Daytona Beach announces citywide precautionary Boil Water Advisory

According to a release from the City of Daytona Beach, due to a break in a 16-inch water pipe, Monday which caused some to have low water pressure has been fixed and a precautionary boil water advisory is now in effect citywide for a minimum of 48 hours or until the bacteriological results come back satisfactory.

In the meantime, the city advises residents to boil all water used for human consumption or use bottled water.
