The Daytona Beach Police Department is investigating a homicide on Clark Street in Daytona Beach following reports of a deceased person. Upon reaching the scene at approximately 1:46 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, responding officers discovered an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin has been notified.

The Police Department identified a person of interest connected to the isolated incident, and an investigation is in progress. Anyone with relevant information concerning this incident should contact Detective J. Roces at (386)671-5246.
